Miss China World 2008: Mei Yanling
Mei Yanling, 24, who is a graduate student at the University of Sydney, won the title of Miss China 2008 on July 31 in Guangzhou and will represent China at the Miss World 2008 pageant on December 13 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Hong Kong Beautiful Actress: Bernice Liu Bik Yi
Bernice Jan Liu, also known as Liu Bik-Yee. She was the 2001 Miss Chinese International Pageant winner and is now an actress and singer with TVB in Hong Kong. Best known for her role in the long-running TVB series, Virtues of Harmony, she is now fondly referred to as 'Princess' by fans. Bernice is heavily rumoured to be dating fellow TVB actor Moses Chan after their realistic portrayal as a couple in the TVB series Love Bond, and subsequently in the series Healing Hands III. However neither actor has yet to confirm whether they are in a relationship or not. Bernice's debut inVirtues of Harmony as "Wong Yee" (Joey) drew a favorable reception from the audience. She was initially criticized for her lack of fluency in Cantonese, the main language of Hong Kong. However this slowly decreased with the advent of her popularity. Bernice emerged as a dark horse candidate by snagging the #2 spot amongst TVB's top-earning artists of 2006, mostly due to her numerous endorsement contracts. She has also received a newcomer award (新人薦場飆星獎) from one of the most important awards ceremony in the Hong Kong Entertainment Industry, the JSG awards (十大勁歌金曲頒獎典禮). In the summer of 2006, Bernice earned a contract with Nike, and became the first Asian spokesperson for the company. Bernice Liu has beaten best actress award winner Charmaine Sheh to claim TVB's top earning artist spot of 2007 earning $4.8 million (HKD).

Bips Sizzles with Vijender Kumar at Nach Baliye4
Olympian bronze medalist Vijender Kumar finally got his dream date with Bollywood bombshell Bipasha Basu when the two met at the sets of 'Nach Baliye 4' on Monday evening. Bipasha had declared before the final match at the Olympics that if the boxer won the gold she would ask him out on a date. Unfortunately he didn't win and the matter seemed to have been put to rest there.
However, it was happy days for Vijender when he was asked to visit 'Nach Baliye' for a special performance which none other than the gorgeous Bipasha. Interestingly, before the shoot Vijender didn't even know that he would actually be performing with Bipasha. The boxer had not even prepared any dance number.
But yet Vijender was pretty excited about meeting the actress and when he finally reached the stage he was surprised by Bipasha who was all geared to perform the hot and sizzling song 'Lover Boy' from her latest film 'Bachna Ae Haseeno'. And Vijender just joined in like a true sportsman.
This hot performance would be part of the first episode of the show which will be aired on October 17.

Bollywood hottie Deepika Padukone walked the ramp for designer duo Shantanu and Nikhil. In her usual grace, Deepika looked sleek and casual in a white tunic.
Sameera walked the ramp dressed in a dull pink evening dress with the feathery touch - signature style of the designer Falguni and Shane. She looked ravishing as the dull pink colour accentuated her complexion.
Minissha Lamba dazzled the audience as they walked in outfits designed by designers Falguni and Shane. Minissha dressed in a pearl white short dress looked very delicate with her petite frame.
Chitrangada set the ramp ablaze looking ravishing in her straight white evening gown with a plunging neck line. Accompanying the lady ware actors Sharman Joshi and Sajay Suri.
Shabana Azmi walked the ramp wearing a white flowy churidaar and kurta designed by Anita Dongre and looked as elegant as ever. And the celeb quotient was bolstered further by Boman Irani in his usual vibrant self wearing a white suit.
Riya Sen walked the ramp for Ranna Gill. Riya sashayed down the ramp wearing a heavily embellished skirt and heavy necklace. She was simply looking stunning in the mini skirt along with the beautiful neck wear.
"I had never modeled for Ranna but she told me that the dress is very trendy, fresh and sexy and 'very you'. So I thought I must do it. I am fussy about my clothes and don't usually wear a mini skirt, but this was a good opportunity,"said Riya.
